I am The Commodore. I am the leader, the authority, the principal author of this Website. From my heart I give you these essays in the hope that you will find them both entertaining and enjoyable. I can only say that I have tried my best to provide you with an interesting place to visit.

I call myself The Commodore because I like the idea of an older naval hierarchy in which Commodores were respected field ranks. Many a great ship has been graced by the presence of her Commodore. I feel this Website is very much like that: a great ship. She sails the Internet with ease and sings like an old wooden frigate in her prime.
